Our Specialties and Expertise
Feeling fear, worry, or distress that disrupts daily life may be a sign of an anxiety disorder—and it’s more common than you think. Nearly 30% of adults in the U.S. experience one at some point. The good news? Anxiety is treatable. If it’s impacting your daily life, our psychiatrists can help you explore the right treatment options.
Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition marked by extreme shifts in mood, energy, behavior, and daily functioning. These episodes can last for days or even weeks. If you suspect you have bipolar disorder, professional support can help you manage symptoms and improve your overall well-being.
Mental health conditions can affect anyone, including children. Our team of specialized psychiatrists understands kids’ unique needs. Finding the right care may feel overwhelming, but the right support can make a meaningful difference. We’re here to help, treating patients ages 5 and up.
Depression is a mental health condition that leads to persistent sadness and a loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed. While it’s natural to feel down after major life events, these feelings usually fade over time. However, if sadness or a low mood is affecting your daily life, a psychiatrist can help you find the right support and treatment.
OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) is a common, chronic mental health condition that triggers recurring, unwanted thoughts and compulsive behaviors. These symptoms can be highly distressing and interfere with daily life. If you think you may have OCD, a psychiatrist can help you understand your experiences and explore effective treatment options.
Pregnancy and postpartum care supports individuals facing mental health challenges during the perinatal period, from conception to the first year after childbirth. This includes postpartum depression and any pre-existing conditions. Our clinicians specialize in addressing the unique needs of new parents.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition triggered by experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. While it’s normal to feel fear or anxiety after such an event, for some, these feelings persist long after the event is over and can interfere with daily life. If you think you may have PTSD, support is available.
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that impacts how the brain functions and is common in both children and adults. Individuals with ADHD may struggle with attention, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity, which can affect academic performance, careers, and relationships. Diagnosing ADHD is complex and requires a comprehensive evaluation by a qualified professional to rule out other mental health conditions.

Providers are medical doctors trained to diagnose and treat complex mental health conditions, often through medication management. If you’re experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, or similar conditions, seeing a Provider may be a good first step.
You may benefit from seeing a Providers if:
- Your primary care doctor or another provider has recommended it.
- You are considering medication for a mental health condition.
- Your symptoms are severe enough to regularly interfere with daily life.
Therapists include a range of professionals such as social workers, mental health counselors, psychologists, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and psychoanalysts. Therapy typically involves regular sessions focused on discussing emotions, problem-solving, and learning coping strategies to manage mental health challenges.
Yes! In most cases, virtual psychiatry is just as effective as in-person care (American Psychiatric Association, 2021). your providers can conduct an evaluation, provide a diagnosis, and create a personalized treatment plan.
Our goal is to connect you with the best care for your needs. In some cases, virtual treatment may not be the right fit. If that’s the case, your providers will recommend alternative options during your first visit.
It depends on your needs! Some people see their providers for a few months, while others benefit from long-term ongoing care. Finding the right treatment plan takes time, but it’s always worth it. Your providers will work with you to set treatment goals so you know what to expect.
There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to medications. your providers will collaborate with you to find the treatment that best suits your needs.

That’s perfectly okay! your providers will work with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your preferences.
